| The final status of Kosovo, the decentralization process, the intensification of economical and political relations have been core issues in yesterday’s meeting between coming prime minister of Albania, Sali Berisha and municipality and commune chairmen of Kosovo.Berisha promised during governing mandate of the democratic party intensification of relationships between Albania and Kosovo. For the democrat leader, Kosovo’s status is very important for the stability of the entire Balkan region. “Recognizing and respecting the actual borders in Balkans including international borders of Kosovo, gradual hand-over of competences to local Kosovo authorities, consolidating the decentralization process and rights of all minorities in Kosovo, reinforcement of legal institutions and paving the way toward the independence of Kosovo in compliance with the willing of Kosovo’s citizens in cooperation with international factor are the ways that give the deserved peace and stability to Southern Balkan”, Berisha said. In this meeting, the head of the blue center, confirmed “DP’s government will have as one of its main priorities the construction of Durres-Prishtina axis as well as increasing the air traffic between two countries. According to him, this will reinforce further the economical relations between Kosovo and Albania. Also, Berisha stressed during DP’s governing, Kosovo will occupy an important position regarding to our priorities and we will support Kosovo’s final status, when it will be discussed. Berisha discussed with Kosovo’s local leader about increasing the collaboration in many important sectors, especially in tourism sector. Berisha informed local leaders of Kosovo about the program of the coming government. “The new government will work for the deserved stability of southern Balkan in its approaches toward European integration”, Berisha said. In the meantime he expressed his strong desire to visit Kosovo in an early future and stressing one more time the negotiations about the new government are still going on and the fact that “the democratic party is opened to discussions and welcomes debates and dialogues”. |

leader du Parti démocratique, Sali Berisha, a rencontré jeudi, à Tirana,
des représentants des unités locales de la Kosove. Lors de cette
rencontre, M.Berisha a déclaré que la renforcement de la coopération
entre les deux pays sera une priorité du programme du nouveau gouvernement.
Selon lui, la coopération entre la Kosove et
l'Albanie sera élargie à travers l'augmentation du nombre des lignes
aériennes, la coopération dans le domaine du tourisme et l'intensification

Tribunal électoral a rejeté jeudi les demandes de certains petits partis pour une
nouvelle convocation des élections législatives à la
proportionnelle dans 40 circonscriptions.
Les membres du Tribunal électoral estiment
que les demandes de ces partis ne sont pas basées sur la loi et
des preuves pour annuler le processus électoral dans ces
circonscriptions. Ainsi, le Tribunal électoral a terminé l'examen des

LE LEADER DU PDR, POLLO, DECLARE QUE LE NOUVEAU GOUVERNEMENT VISE L'ADHESION DE L'ALBANIE DANS L'OTAN DURANT 2007
TIRANA, 4 août (ATA-Maela
Marini) - Le leader du Parti démocrate nouveau (PDr), Genc Pollo, a déclaré
que "la priorité du nouveau gouvernement sera la conclusion des négociations
avec l'Union européenne et l'adhésion de l'Albanie dans
l'Otan durant 2007.
Durant une table de débat concernant les
priorités du programme gouvernemental, M.Pollo a souligné que "le
PDr propose la création d'un tribunal spécial, où les businessmen
peuvent se plaindre envers l'administration publique". Selon lui,
"les réformateurs suggéreront que l'amélioration de la loi
pour l'enseignement supérieur et de la loi pour les propriétés, ainsi
que l'application de politiques favorisant les fermiers constituent une
