Dear Brothers and sisters,

For the last 40 years, these April dates have been remembered by Albanians everywhere. We want to express our deepest gratitude through you who are here now, to all Albanians, both in the fatherland and diaspora, for never having failed to commemorate the memory of the man, king Zog I of the Albanians, who settled the foundations for a modern albanian state. It is people like yourselves, who by remembering these dates, maintain the true honour and dignity of your nation.

We are only sorry that we are unable to be with you, but at present, circumstances do not permit it.
